My Prof. is leaving the University and I am worried to the core.
If he can take you with him, do go with.
And don’t panic way too much.. (know that sleepless nights and panicky-4:00AM-s are a part of the PhD deal. So, it’s business as-usual.)

He’ll be here for another 6 months to a year. The real panic will start only after that..
And yes, started to think of it as a phase of Ph.D. life.
This is like a death sentence for a research scholar coz getting adjusted to a new guide is a tricky path. Try and finish all the major work before he leaves. He is leaving or retiring? All the best!
