Inertia… Hooph.. How can I get rid of that??? This is the 4th time I am writing something to put up in my blog today. And for the last three times I had 3 different topics. So it’s not because of lack of topics that I don’t write, it’s because of Inertia I guess.
Last week was really hectic. I had to submit my project, exams- both lab and theory and a lot of journey. So in this post I will incorporate the contents of the 3 posts I thought to write (in brief). Thank you to my dear friend who wrote the assignment for me which I have to submit tomorrow.
I have been selected for the google summer of code project is the first thing (wonders still happen). I haven’t done anything significant for the project till date and my mentor have an option of dismissing me from the project contest before May 28 considering my performance. Hope it won’t happen. Three students from our college got selected for the SOC project and that is too less. There were some others too who were worthy enough to get into the project. Thank you to the guru.
The second thing is about Thrissur pooram. It’s always fun to be with friends. I never had a much better Pooram. I had a chat with a chiromancer (palmist) – a short woman. Palm reading costs about twenty five rupees and only ten rupees for making the parrot take a card (any name for that science). Well, the inherent miser in me made me go for the second option. The palmist freed the parrot and she (he??) took the
The third thing is the chat I had with my grand uncle, my mother’s uncle. I spend almost a day with him. Unlike most of the people of my age I love to listen to old people. I never felt it boring listening to them. I learn a lot from them but little do I implement in my life L… He just pointed out that my way of talking need to be improved (my mother used to tell me that too). “Hear what you talk” – that’s what he told. One should hear what he talks. It doesn’t mean that you have to talk loudly. You have to hear it before you say – your mind should hear so that you are so sure that what you are talking about and the chances of mistakes will get reduced a lot. The talk then lead to how to be happy which ended with the connotation “Do to others what you expect others to do to you”. Hey, don’t think that he is a philosopher. Girls – were the next topic we discussed about. He even offered me a drink.
I hate proof reading. The number of errors increases each time I read my article.
