Late night scribbles…

The storm is on. Sreejith had left and that makes me the master and slave of embedded department in the company. To be frank, I am not sure if I have the spine to take up the responsibility all by myself -praying, for some experienced guy to join soon.

Finally went for ‘Om Shanti Om’ yesterday. I have this feeling that the base theme of the movie and vintage movie ‘Karz’ are the same. If someone asks me to rate between Karz and OSO, my vote goes for Karz. That is one of my all-time favorites (especially the song Ek haseena thi). This week is going to be a marathon movie week.

once wrote in her blog “I would like to humbly request the parents of those young ‘gentlemen’ ,with serious nervous disorders accompanied by hormonal imbalance, to have them married off as early as possible. Hopefully that might prevent these wannabes from becoming a social havoc. Its not healthy for the society to have them let loose.” What can be done when it is ‘old’ gentlemen! (a theater incident).

Sometimes someone helps you unknowingly. Is it necessary to thank them for that, particularly when you don’t want to tell them the reason? Anyways, thank you buddy.. Thanks for calling me at the right time. :) [And isn't it useless to say this here when I am damn sure that the person never sees this? :-? ]

I wished to end this post with a nice quote and was thinking of something and this came to my mind

“If two people thinks alike then there is definitely no need for one of them.”

A friend of mine showed me this in his friend’s blog, who found this in his friend’s keychain.

Karz is one of my favourite movies. And you know dude when I joined this firm there was a cool character in our company Mr.Rajesh Golani(IIT Madras 2003). Once he tested my by playing the song “Ek haseena thi” in guitar. But usko kya patha tha ki hamein woh gana ithana pasand hai. He taught me how to play the song. When I heard about the movie, I was thinking about the song “Meri umar ke naujavaaanom…” The movie name exactly resembles this song. Hence I always say in my company: Picture tho abhi baaki hai mere dosth…. :)

No wonder.. Anjali is considered as a great writer…

It will be unjust to compare Karz and OSM. OSM is purely an entertainment film made on SRK’s image. We must see it in that context alone. And for comparing with Karz its remake itself is coming (with Himesh Reshammiya for Rishi).

  7. vivek_b says:

Unjust!!! KArz is also an entertainment film, I guess..

Cant even imagine Himesh Reshmaniya doing Rishi Kapoors role of ‘Monty’ !!!!!

Every actor has his own talent. Himesh is specialized in KISS-ing and not acting, though its a part of acting. I won’t see that movie!!! So that Karz would remain in my memory till my death…

  11. vivek_b says:

Sujith, the kisser is Imrean and not Himesh. .:)..

Till death!!! seems like u take karz into your blood :P…
